Using seven pianos manufactured by Broadwood from the end of the 18th century to the beginning of the 20th century, the exhibition traces the history of the piano through the sounds of pianos that have been produced by a single piano manufacturer for over 100 years, and through the works of composers of the era in which each piano was played.
