[10min Gallery Talk] 7/12(wed)・7/15(fri)：Hsaing-waing
Burmese percussion ensemble.
The term also refers to the leading instrument of the ensemble, the Drum-chime (also called pat-waing).
The hsaing-waing ensemble accompanies theatre performances such as the zat-pwe (all-night drama) and is the main ensemble for bala-zaing or concert performances and for puppet shows.
