[10min Gallery Talk] 7/19(wed)・7/21(fri)：Ghatam
t looks like a simple unglazed porcelain bowl...? But it is also a fine musical instrument. It is one of the body sound instruments used in South Asian countries such as India, and produces a variety of tones by striking the surface of the instrument with the fingertips or palms, or even by pressing the instrument against the body.
